Eva Madland

Postdoctoral fellow
Aarhus university
Eva is a postdoc in Kasper R Andersen’s lab working on receptor-ligand perception. She will be using nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy to investigate this perception from both the ligand’s perspective as well as the receptor, which, in combination with other techniques in Andersen’s lab, will give valuable intel to be used for receptor engineering. Eva got her PhD in biotechnology at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) where she studied protein-carbohydrate interactions using NMR spectroscopy. She has her BSc and MSc in organic chemistry from NTNU where she worked on isolation, separation and structure elucidation (by NMR) of natural products from plants
