Matt has worked in the crop transformation team at Niab since 2018 as a molecular biology research assistant. He works on cloning and confirmation via PCR and QPCR. Previously, he worked in plant biochemistry for 10 years and still has a love for UPLC and Mass Spectrometry and plant secondary metabolism. However, he started in science in Plant Pathology, so plant interactions with bacteria and fungi have always been of interest too.
