Nils Nebel

Nils Nebel is a PhD student in the Lab of Thomas Ott. He is interested in the membrane dynamics inside infected cells and the development of symbiotic cells in the indeterminate root nodule.
Nils studied biology at the University of Freiburg, where he wrote his bachelor thesis on regulation of microRNA processing under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tanja Vogel at the Institute of Anatomy. During his master program, he shifted his focused towards plant systems, maintaining his interest in cell biology and cell differentiation. He joined the group of Thomas Ott for his master thesis.
