I hold a degree in Biology and completed my PhD at the University of Zaragoza (Spain), where I conducted research within the Nitrogen Fixation in Legumes group (EEAD-CSIC). My doctoral thesis focused on the characterization of leghemoglobin-deficient mutants to explore the differential expression of nine hemoglobins in Lotus japonicus. Additionally, I investigated the molybdoenzyme ARC (Amidoxime Reducing Component) as a potential candidate involved in nitric oxide synthesis in plants.
In February 2025, I joined Dr. Simona Radutoiu’s research group as a postdoctoral researcher. My current work focuses on the functional analysis of LysM receptors involved in the recognition of soil microorganisms that engage in symbiotic interactions with plants.
